Peer Pressure
Well that was a cold and very wet ride. I love it when I can already feel the water sloshing in my shoes 45 minutes into a 3 hour ride. That was before the group ride even started but once I was on it I couldn’t bail early like the smart people did. I didn’t want to be the weenie who can’t handle a little water. After a while there was just two of us, and then the other guy peeled off to go home and I had to finish by myself.

So you & Kevin rode west side OLH and just Ludo took off early? Kevin and I were not too far behind you, but we ditched the west side OLH loop ourselves; it was just getting way too cold & nasty up there. –Mike–
I thought you guys might be behind us. I’m surprised you didn’t catch us, we weren’t going that fast up Kings.
Ludo went down 84 while Kevin and I did west OLH. Then Kevin wisely stayed up top while I went down 84. That sucked- we hadn’t seen much traffic all day but it all came down 84 while I was trying to descend, and it was raining so hard that I could barely see. One of these days I’ll figure out an anti-fog solution for my glasses so I can wear them in the rain.
